The average tenure of Sales Reps and VPs of Sales has declined, leading to changing dynamics in sales organizations. This trend affects sales performance, revenue targets, and rep retention. According to the 2023 Sales Benchmark Report by Lightspeed Lighthouse, sales rep quota attainment has declined since 2021, with only 33% of reps attaining their quotas in Q1 2023.
